My dad passed away at the beginning of July, and my daughter and I are visiting my stepmom for a few days. While we’re here, we’ve been able to visit Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove in Yosemite National Park. Enjoy these photos of Half Dome, the valley, waterfalls, and giant sequoias!

In TAINTED EVIDENCE the attraction between Josh and Maddie develops quickly, but Josh has responsibilities that prevent him from starting a relationship. He fights the pull of attraction and often ends up losing, as in this early scene:
Maddie walked him to the front door and paused the alarm to step outside. Josh faced her, the intensity in his eyes sending a shot of heat straight to her center. “I wish we could start something.”
“Me too.” She didn’t think she’d ever said a truer thing.
He held her gaze. A car pulled up in front of her house, but he didn’t move. He stared at her for a long moment, then said, “Screw it,” and his hand was behind her neck, pulling her forward. He leaned down and gave her a hot, deep kiss. His tongue invaded her mouth, and she took him in and stroked him with her own.
The kiss was intense, amazing, and utterly unexpected.
A horn honked.
