Sad News for our Annual Gingerbread House

Last night I received an urgent message from my daughter:
“MOM THE NECCO WAFER COMPANY IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS”

Yes. She employed all caps for this tier 1 emergency. You see, without Necco wafers, our gingerbread houses won’t look as pretty.

NECCO is America’s oldest continuously operating candy company, turning out the chalky discs (and other confections) since 1847.
