In Toni Anderson’s fantastic book, COLD BLOODED, my book, FIRESTORM makes the ultimate sacrifice to save Pip and Hunt. Yesterday, my family set out to recreate FIRESTORM’s heroic role. I wish I could say no books were harmed in the making of these photos, but they were, hilariously. Should I be worried my family was so eager to shoot my book???

A Tour of the USS Somerset
A few weeks ago, my husband and I toured USS Somerset in Seattle as part of SeaFair/Fleet Week. I try to do ship tours when I can – great research for writing military thrillers, plus my husband works for the Navy, and he used to work for Naval History and Heritage Command, so the tours are good for his knowledge base as well.
